Jamaican Food are us!!!

Hello Lovelies,

How are things going with you guys? Hope the sun is shining down on you as compared to the gloomy times of last year. I heard the best news today that the dollar to Naira is N380. I hope the rate would go further down and make life is easier for all of us.

For those who know me, they know I love food..not like oo..I LOVE FOOD and trying out new cuisines. One of the things I promised myself this year was to take myself out more and enjoy life to the fullest, this involves also going to new restaurants and trying their menus. I would be sharing my experiences with you guys even though it is not helping my fitfam life.

An Ode to #Hurtbae

Hey Lovelies,

How has your week been? Mine has been like a whirlwind and boy!! am I glad that it is Friday, although my weekend is already packed full with book stuff (guess, the life of a scholar never ends).

One of the interesting things I encountered this week was the #hurtbae series where in Exes confronted each other on their past. Apparently, the guy cheated on the girl (with plenty girls kpa kpa...There is God ooo). It was quite emotional especially on the part of the girl. As for the guy, I really have no words because he was so nonchalant and cold that I even had cause to reason if he was ever in love or even in 'like' with the girl.

To Love unto Death

Hello Lovelies,

It's been a minute. Today is one of those days where I feel some type of way and end up having deep convos with myself. Today was a supposed to be  a happy one considering the fact that my weekend got off to a good start (gist for another day).  I woke up this morning and did my social media rounds which included going on Instagram, what hit me was the news of the death of Eric Arubayi leaving behind a young wife and a son. All through were condolence messages mourning him.

My Experience in Making Coconut Oil

Hello Lovelies,

How are you guys doing? The novelty of the new year has worn off and we are back to reality facing the challenges as they come. However, we are not to worry as it would not increase the number of hair on our head but putting things into God's hands and depending on him as a child depends on his father is key this period.

So, part of my goals this year is to take better care of my body and get a six(6) pack stomach. To achieve this, I have decided to adopt a low carb / paleo diet which involves reduce eating carbohydrate foods and increasing my fat/protein diet.

Paint-balling

Hello Lovelies,

How is the first week of the year turning out for you? Hope awesome so far. For me, it has been great. I got news that one of my best friends gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I am so going to make an awesome *self appointed* godmother.

During the holidays last week, I went paint-balling with a couple of friends. I had a discussion with some friends some weeks ago about the lack of fun stuff to do in Lagos apart from going to the beach, malls and partying. Thus, they came up with going paint-balling.
