LIVE!!!!!!

Hey Guys, 

How is it going? This is promising to be one long weekend. I am going to be mostly indoors facing my books and chilling with friends et Kirby.

During this period, I tend to take time out to look at my life and evaluate things. I think I have been taking myself too seriously and overthinking things. There is a milestone coming up in a couple of months and I have been putting myself under undue pressure trying to be catch up with where I thought I would be. This relates to finance, relationships, marriage, having kids, a house with a white picket fence and Kirby running around.

On relationships, I realized that I tend to look at every guy as a prospective boyfriend and ultimately husband. When it does not work out in the way I thought it would, running off or acting paranoid becomes the order of the day so that the other party would not see how hurt and vulnerable I am and it bites the dust. In Bunmi's words of @thingsiwishiknewbefore on instagram (you guys should totally check out her page), ''Not every guy is meant to be your boyfriend or even husband, most are actually supposed to be in the friend-zone or brother-zone''..

As my friend Ganxe says, you never know who or where your life partner would be. Who says they would be in Nigeria? Who says they would not meet you when you are 35 or when you least expect? Why do you have to stop living because society has told you to get married at a certain age? Why do you have to conform to societal pressures?

That moment when you see noone in your future

My new direction is start living each day like it was your last, enjoy being single, go on that travelling spree, go on that new adventure,  take the edge off, always take things at face value and DO NOT OVERTHINK..Know what you want and do not sell yourself short...Most importantly face God, let him work on you to be the best version of you, your future partner would thank God for it.

I guess I have not really talked about my inner thoughts or on relationships in a really long time and hope it helps someone out there.
